BUFFALO, N.Y. — As a new school year begins, Buffalo Public Schools also marks a new chapter in leadership.

Dr. Pascal Mubenga has officially stepped into the role of superintendent, bringing with him nearly a decade of experience and a reputation as a transformational leader.

Top Priority: School Safety

Despite being new to Buffalo, Dr. Mubenga is wasting no time addressing one of the district’s most pressing concerns: safety.

“Like any other superintendent — and I’ve been doing this for almost 10 years — safety is my number one priority,” Mubenga said. “I want to make sure that all staff and students are safe.”
