Re: ‘The West, Ukraine to blame for war with Russia,’ Aug. 28.

I am astonished that Postmedia published this letter. This man’s so-called opinion is right out of a Russian playbook.

He states in response to an opinion by MacDonald that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is a fable repeated a thousand times by the West’s media, including the CBC. Everything he writes in that letter comes from the Russian version of events.

I know we encourage free speech, but this man’s version of the war in Ukraine, including Washington’s overthrowing the legal government and installing the puppet government of Zelensky, is a complete lie.

I would suggest that you print a disclaimer or print a fact check; otherwise, by publishing this misinformation, your paper is in effect supporting that writer’s delusions
