The Pulaski County Maroons traveled across town to take on the Southwestern Warriors on a rainy Tuesday evening, with the Maroons able to ride a red-hot offensive attack to a 5-0 shutout victory over their rivals.
Kaden Anderson scored the first goal of the contest early in the ball game in the third minute. This led to the defenses of both teams playing strong for nearly the remainder of the first half. That was until the 37th minute, as a beautiful through ball from Gerardy Lopez-Morales resulted in a goal for Owen Lewis. A great corner kick from Evan Lewis led to a header from Lewis a minute later that resulted in his second goal of the night, giving the Maroons a 3-0 lead at the break.
