Dana St. John Ericksson of Glocester, R.I., 74, passed away peacefully on Aug. 30, 2025, with his beloved wife, Gail, by his side.

Born in Providence on Aug. 30, 1951, he was the son of the late O. Leonard and Viola (St. John) Ericksson.

Dana proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a helicopter mechanic and door gunner. After his service, he attended New England Tech, where he earned an Associate Degree in electronics and robotics. Over the years, he worked in many fields and for the last decade before retiring he proudly owned and operated Woodland Transport.

He was a man who loved the outdoors, spending time hunting and fishing. He was always happiest working on motors or sharing his knowledge with younger generations. Above all, Dana treasured time spent
