ALLENDALE, Mich. — Grand Valley State University (GVSU) has updated visitor restrictions in living areas on campus following security concerns spurred by a reported stabbing and car thefts.
Late Wednesday afternoon, students received a message from the university by the Director of Public Safety, Daniel Lindstrom and the Associate Vice President for Student Engagement and Dean of Students, Aaron Haight.
The message had an update on the investigation into the alleged stabbing, as well as new safety precautions.
GVSU said its Department of Public Safety is partnering with other law enforcement agencies to find the person of interest in the stabbing incident.
