Hydrangeas flowers will be ‘stronger' after winter if 1 ‘easy gardening task' is done now

Hydrangeas are perfect for British gardens as they can endure tough winters - but there's one simple task to complete now to guarantee abundant blooms come springtime.

Whilst it may seem far off, with temperatures falling it's the perfect time to begin preparations so you can enjoy a wealth of larger hydrangea flowers next year.

Experts at Millcreek Gardens disclosed that deadheading hydrangeas once their flowers begin to wilt and turn brown will enhance flowering output in the future.

The specialist noted: "When you deadhead hydrangeas, you aren't harming the plants at all."
