Following a search that began on Thursday for an alleged missing swimmer in Cape May, New Jersey, the city's Office of Emergency Management has said a missing persons report was never filed with their police department or partnering agencies.
Rescue crews were in the water along the Cape May, New Jersey, beach in search of a missing swimmer who got in the water Thursday morning.
The search focused on the area of Madison Avenue and Beach Avenue. The swimmer allegedly got in the water at around 7:15 a.m., according to the City of Cape May Office of Emergency Management.
