Duane "Keefe D" Davis has been sentenced to over three years in prison for fighting a fellow inmate at a county jail in Nevada.
According to a report KLAS published on Tuesday, September 2, Clark County District Court Judge Nadia Krall ordered Davis to serve 16-40 months in prison for an unrelated fight he got into while in jail. The brawl happened last December at the Clark County Detention Center, but Davis was found guilty of fighting an inmate by a jury in April.
“I was attacked,” Davis said. “It was wrong. I know not to fight in the jail. The guy attacked me.”
“My parents brought me up to protect myself, and that’s all I was doing, protecting myself, and this is totally wrong man,” Davis added.
