San Luis City Council members are inviting residents to participate in the community outreach program called Conversations with Council, which is designed to maintain a closer relationship between the city government and the community.
The second session of the program, implemented in June, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 6, at the San Luis Library, 1075 N. 6th Ave., at 10 a.m.
The meeting allows the public to meet with council members, ask questions and share ideas, complaints and suggestions, all in an informal setting.
“Conversations with Council is a casual meeting designed for residents and elected officials to discuss openly,” said Francia Alonso, city spokesperson. “The community will be able to share ideas, express concerns, ask questions and get to know their council members be
