One hundred and thirty seven probationers were welcomed to Police Scotland at a series of ceremonies across the country today, Thursday, 4 September, 2025.
The officers, who are the latest recruits to join Police Scotland received their warrant cards as they made the declaration of a constable.
There are 91 males and 46 females in this latest intake, bringing officer establishment to 16,516.
The new recruits were joined by 15 special constables who also made the declaration.
Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Houston addressed the probationers at a ceremony at Police Scotland Headquarters, Tulliallan, while ACC Catriona Paton addressed the new recruits at a ceremony in Aberdeen.
Chief Superintendent Rob Shepherd welcomed the latest recruits at a ceremony in Inverness, which included two
