Maurice Williams is used to being in the shadows.
The Edna Karr cornerback has seen the spotlight put on defensive lineman Richard Anderson and safety Aiden Hall, each an LSU commitment and ranked among the best in the country at their positions.
Williams, a third-year starter on the Karr defense, never got the same fanfare as his better-known teammates.
“When I make a play, (people ask) ‘Who’s that? Where’d he come from? Where’s he committed?’” Williams said. “I always been that guy.”
