BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) - The American folk-rock duo the Indigo Girls are coming to Binghamton in May 2026 to perform at the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts.
On May 3rd, 2020, the Anderson Center for the Performing Arts will be hosting the Indigo Girls. The Binghamton University Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Jingqi Zhu will be providing live accompaniment.
The Grammy award winning folk-rock duo of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers known as the Indigo Girls, released their first album Strange Fire in 1987. Their second album released in 1989 the self-titled Indigo Girls was their first major release by Epic Records. Since then, the duo went on to win multiple awards, collaborate with other musicians such as Michael Stripe and Joan Baez and releasing 15 studio albums.
