An 11-year-old boy in Arlington was approached by a masked man in a car who tried to grab him on Tuesday afternoon, police said.
At 3:10 p.m., the boy was walking home from a Broadway convenience store when he was approached on Waldo Road by a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black facemask, the statement said.
The man was in a four-door sedan and did not say anything, police said.
The man tried to grab the boy’s arm, but the boy was able to run away, police said.
