Broome County, N.Y. - Three men, including a pastor of a Broome County church, have been accused of using social media to lure minors to engage in sexual acts.
State Police announced Thursday that the three men were charged with second-degree attempted rape:
Ronald E. Wenzinger, 70, of Binghamton, a pastor at the United Methodist Church in Harpursville, a community about 20 miles northeast of Binghamton.
John J. Tremark, 39, of Binghamton
Juan A. Bolanoszul, 38, of Endicott
The three cases are separate and had no connection to one another, according to State Police spokesperson Trooper Aga Tinker.
The investigation was conducted with undercover officers posing as minors, Tinker said.
All three men were being processed through Broome County centralized arraignment, troopers said. The
