Market president and publisher Lori Becker is leaving the Nashville Business Journal after 17 years.
The media company announced Becker's departure on Wednesday, noting she will remain at the NBJ through the end of September and will work "to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership" in the coming months.
Becker was named publisher in 2019, having served as managing editor and editor-in-chief after reporting for the publication since 2008. Though she did not say what her next role would be, she said in the announcement that she is "stepping down to explore what comes next."
