The decision was made to adjust its network to focus on the company's strongest performing markets, a spokesperson with Spirit said.

Aside from Sacramento International Airport (SMF), Albuquerque (ABQ), Birmingham (BHM), Boise (BOI), Chattanooga (CHA), Columbia (CAE), Oakland (OAK), Portland (PDX), Salt Lake City (SLC) and San Diego (SJC) will no longer have Spirit Airlines.
