Basketball fans have seen several impressive deals this offseason. However, the situation between the Golden State Warriors and Jonathan Kuminga remains unchanged. The Warriors initially offered Kuminga a two-year extension worth $45 million, which included a team option. In response, Kuminga requested a contract that would pay him closer to $30 million annually.
More recently, reports indicated that the Warriors extended a qualifying offer of $7.9 million. NBA Insider Brett Siegel recently revealed that Kuminga is ready to bet on himself as tensions between him and the Warriors increase.
