A Canton man was arrested on a murder charge Thursday morning in connection with the fatal shooting of a Boston man in the city’s Dorchester neighborhood four months ago, Boston police announced.
Jordan Evans, 32, is facing one count of murder and five gun charges in the death of 35-year-old Dorchester resident Shakar Caterson, Boston police said in a press release .
A warrant for Evans’ arrest in connection with the case was issued on Sept. 4, according to court records. The Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested him in Canton with the help of Massachusetts State Police and U.S. Marshals around 11:45 a.m. the same day, police said.
