Big Brother season 27 resumes tonight with an all-new episode, and we’re inching closer and closer to the season finale in late September.

However, fans of the series might be surprised that the show is actually not airing the next two Sundays.

We know the reason why, and what will be happening instead.

On Sunday (September 7), CBS will be airing the 2025 MTV VMAs instead of the new episode of BB27 .

Instead, CBS will air a special episode of Big Brother on Tuesday (September 9) at 8pm to make up for the missed Sunday (September 7) episode. There will also be episodes airing at regular times on Wednesday (September 10) and Thursday (September 11).

On Sunday (September 14), CBS will be airing the 2025 Emmy Awards instead of a new episode of BB27 .
