A 49-year-old York Region man is accused of sexually assaulting multiple girls under the age of 16 and cops are concerned about the possibility of other alleged victims.

Peel Regional Police claim a man communicated through social media with several victims using the online names “Jimmy”, “Jimmy Smoke”, and “Steve McQueen” between Feb. 2024 and June 2025 and he allegedly sexually assaulted the girls, who were under the age of 16.

Investigators identified a suspect and arrested him on Aug. 28.
