FORT ERIE - Mansetti and jockey Pietro Moran will take a shot at the OLG Canadian Triple Crown.

Mansetti, which won the King's Plate with apprentice Moran aboard, will run in the $400,000 Prince of Wales Stakes on Tuesday at Fort Erie Racetrack. Mansetti is the early 2-1 favourite in the seven-horse field.

The decision to run Mansetti in the second jewel of the Canadian thoroughbred racing Triple Crown wasn't a surprise.

Last week, trainer Kevin Attard said all signs pointed to Mansetti racing in Fort Erie pending a final training session on dirt, the surface the 1 3/16-mile Prince of Wales will be run on.
