A defiant Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. defended the vaccine and health policies he has enacted since taking office during a fiery congressional hearing Thursday.
The Senate Finance Committee had called Kennedy to a hearing on the Trump administration’s 2026 health care agenda, but questioning focused heavily on his oftentimes scientifically dubious views on vaccinations as well as last week’s firing of former Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Susan Monarez.
