He does not keep that money; he donates it. It's something he started in high school.
Cathy Bouzan, his former Best Buddies adviser and teacher at the Whitman Hansen Transition Vocational Program, said she remembers.
"I knew that Riley loved to redeem cans and bottles, and then he let me know that he was going to be donating money to Best Buddies," she said.
After completing school, Miller, who has Down syndrome, kept collecting and got a job at the ARC of Greater Brockton Redemption Center.
