CAMBRIDGE, Mass. —
A Massachusetts man was arraigned Wednesday on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and civil rights violation charges in connection with the disruption of a protest in Cambridge in August.

A social media video shows a man, who prosecutors said is Freeman, driving past the demonstration, claiming the group was blocking JFK Street. The man screamed at the group and at one point got out of his car, wielding what appeared to be a hatchet, before driving away.
