Following a limited theatrical run in August 2025, the newest Spike Lee “joint” is making its way to streaming.
“Highest 2 Lowest,” which premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, will be available for all Apple TV+ subscribers to watch beginning Friday (Sept. 5).
The new film marks Lee’s fifth collaboration with actor Denzel Washington, and his first in nearly 20 years (their last, “Inside Man,” was released in 2006). In “Highest 2 Lowest,” Washington plays David King, a successful record executive and music mogul who gets targeted with a ransom plot when his son Trey (Aubrey Joseph) gets kidnapped.
