JENKINS — A 79-year-old Tempe, Arizona, man was injured Thursday, Sept. 4, after his vehicle rolled into the ditch on Highway 371 in Crow Wing County.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded to the crash at 12:58 p.m. in Jenkins. According to the crash report, a 2025 Kia Soul was southbound on the highway, just past County Highway 16, when it left the roadway and rolled into the right ditch.
The driver of the Kia, David Paul Saar, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.
The State Patrol reported the road was dry at the time of the crash.
The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, Breezy Point Police Department, Pequot Lakes Police and Fire departments and North Memorial Health Ambulance assisted at the scene.
