GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - A woman’s basement has flooded multiple times over the summer, and after thousands of dollars spent cleaning it up, she is begging for help to avoid it happening again.
“I just panicked, I didn’t know what to do,” said Hazel Lloyd. “I hope that someone does something about the drains because I know it’s not my property.”
Lloyd’s Garfield Heights home first had water fill the basement in May.
She had a company come out and check the plumming and received an all clear on any clogging.
In July, after a heavy rain, it happened again, this time half a foot of gray water filled her basement.
Lloyd says she called Servpro and again received an all clear on her pipes.
