It would have been a storybook finish, one that perhaps even Disney scriptwriters would have said was a little too on-the-nose. After breaking the all-time American Association home run record earlier in the season, Jabari Henry of the Sioux Falls Canaries -- who had been previously drafted by the Seattle Mariners in 2012 -- was on his way to breaking the all-time Partner League home run mark of 159, a collective made up of the American Association, Atlantic League, Frontier League and Pioneer League.

On Aug. 7, Henry tied David Washington's record with an 11th-inning, walk-off three-run home run that also broke up the Winnipeg Goldeyes' combined no-hitter.

Two nights later, Henry smashed two more long balls, passing Washington with his 160th and 161st home runs.
