When most people are looking to buy or sell a property, be it a residential, retail or commercial space, they will all take the same first step – contact an agent. Part of that initial interview with the agent will be spent trying to understand their approach. Knowing what the agent is doing and why, along with what they need from the buyer can be key to a successful and less-stress experience.

In the retail space, Kevin Moss, senior vice president, retail services group at CBRE in Cleveland, said, “I have been making a huge push for better photography. It’s historically more commonly used in residential sales, not so much in commercial.”

He said he believes that this can help sellers have better branding and help buyers have greater insight into an available space.
