A folk-rock staple and hometown R&B legend cashed the biggest checks for their performances on the Indiana State Fair’s Hoosier Lottery Free Stage this year.

The fair shelled out $150,000 each to America and Babyface for their appearances this year, according to their contracts with the Indiana State Fair Commission. The commission gave more than just the payout to these and the other artists who played the fair this summer; it also fulfilled requests for food, beverage and other sundries for the acts’ dressing rooms and backstage.
