Defending state champions Trinity and Christian Academy are unanimous No. 1 selections in the first Kentucky High School Football Media Poll of the season.

Trinity (2-0), seeking its third straight state championship , received all 16 first-place votes in the Class 6A poll. Christian Academy (2-0), gunning for its fourth straight state title , swept the first-place votes in the Class 3A poll.
