An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with a deadly East Harlem shooting that killed a 69-year-old woman walking near her home last week, police said.
The NYPD said Faisil Mccants was arrested Thursday and charged with three counts of murder, robbery, and multiple weapons charges. Police said the arrest occurred around 11 a.m. in the 23rd Precinct, which covers the area where the shooting took place.
On Aug. 27, officers responded to a 911 call at East 110th Street and Madison Avenue and found Robin Wright with a gunshot wound to her face, authorities said. Wright was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside, where she was later pronounced dead, according to officials.
A friend who was with her at the time said they were returning from getting Chinese food when shots rang out. Wrig
