Oktoberfest is a celebration of Bavarian culture, music, food and camaraderie, and, at its heart is one golden star – Oktoberfest beer. Oktoberfest takes place this year from Sept. 20 to Oct. 5.

In honor of their wedding, celebrations such as horse races, parades, beer and wine tastings, dancing, music and theater abound. Over the years, Oktoberfest has evolved into the world’s largest annual beer festival, with more than six million visitors annually.
