MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (WLNE) — The Middletown Police Department said that a 47-year-old bicyclist suffered serious injuries after a crash on Thursday.

Police said the crash occurred on Greene Lane around 4 p.m. and involved a car hitting the bicycle.

The bicyclist was then transported to the hospital and was in “serious but stable condition.”

No charges had been made and the driver of the car was cooperating.
