A career fair geared to women interested in making law enforcement their chosen profession will be hosted by the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department later this month.

The agency will hold a “Women’s Employment Expo” on Sept. 27, beginning at 9 a.m. and wrapping up around 1 p.m., at the Moreno Valley Conference & Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick St.

“This is an excellent opportunity to explore various career options within the … sheriff’s office and gain valuable insights into the roles and responsibilities each position entails,” according to the sheriff’s announcement.

Positions profiled will include patrol deputies, correctional deputies, community service officers, dispatchers and documents clerks, officials said.
