Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday he was still interested in peace negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and invited him to hold such a meeting in Moscow. Zelensky is unlikely to accept the invitation, both out of concern for his own safety and anger at Putin’s steadily escalating attacks on Ukrainian cities.
