CRANFORD, N.J. (WJW) – A town council candidate in New Jersey is going viral after he was caught on video breakdancing in protest of a property tax hike.

The man, Will Thilly, is a candidate for the Cranford Township Committee. According to local news station ABC 7, he’s known in the area for his antics at civic meetings, like the one he was breakdancing at on September 2.

During the town hall meeting, Thilly is caught on camera, dancing his way to the podium as a council member said, “Mr Thilly, I started your time.”

After he began speaking at the podium, he turned around to the others in the audience and said, “Did you know I can do a backspin?” before demonstrating his moves on the town hall floor.
