PHILADELPHIA − The Eagles unveiled their Super Bowl championship banner shortly before their season-opening game with the Cowboys on Sept. 4.

The banner, at the top of the stadium, was covered with a black tarp until the unveiling about 10 minutes before kickoff.

The Eagles had two giant replicas of the Lombardi Trophy on the field before Eagles chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie, holding the real thing, along with retired edge rusher Brandon Graham came on the field.

Then Graham led the crowd in an E-A-G-L-E-S chant as the black tarp came down.

It is the 17th banner hanging from the rafters, joining the Eagles' other championship seasons in addition to division titles and NFC championships. Buy Philadelphia Eagles tickets
