The Buffaloes continued their impressive start to the season by making quick work of Fresno State on Thursday afternoon, topping the Bulldogs 25-23, 25-18, 25-13 in the first contest of the Anteater Classic hosted by UC Irvine.

It was the fourth sweep in as many matches for the Buffs, who improved to 4-0.

CU held an 18-14 lead late in the first step before the Bulldogs reeled off five consecutive points to take a 19-18 lead. The Buffs responded with three straight points, and soon broke a 23-23 tie by recording the final two points.

Fresno State led 15-11 in the second set when the Buffs stormed back in a hurry, scoring eight of the next nine points to take a 19-16 lead
