TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - Today’s something good is worth a toast!

The MS Together for a Cure Luncheon celebrated a huge milestone on Thursday.

The Tallahassee-based luncheon is now in its 27th year, and over the years it has raised more than $1 million to fund research, treatments and services for those living with multiple sclerosis.

Natasha Acoff said it’s important to know that she and others with MS are not alone.

“For those of us living with MS, whether it’s progressive or relapsing remitting, some of us don’t have that many symptoms, but to know we are just that much closer to finding a cure. That money goes to vital research; it’s critical. One day, MS won’t be here anymore,” Acoff said.
