SCOTTSDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — Diane Mehok says thanks to On Your Side, Walmart refunded around $700 to her account after she got an extra she she didn’t want.

“I’m one of the rare people who ever got an apology from Walmart,” she said.

In a previous On Your Side report , Mehok told us that she had purchased a backyard shed online from the retail giant.

The crew she hired to assemble the shed gave her some surprising news. “After these fellas installed it for me, they said, ‘You’ve got an extra shed here,’” she said.

Mehok says she only ordered one shed. But when she checked her account, sure enough, she was charged around $700 twice, which explains that second shed.

When Walmart wouldn’t return her money or pick up the extra shed, she turned to On Your Side, and we shared her story.
