Mayor holds State of the City address days before primary; opponent criticizes timing

Less than a week ahead of the city's primary election, Mayor Michael O'Connor gave the annual State of the City address on Wednesday, sparking criticism from his primary opponent.

In the address, the mayor went over city accomplishments from the past year, announced a new program to fund nonprofits affected by federal cuts, and said he will propose a childcare tax credit.
