GREENSBORO, N.C. — For the past couple of months, the staff of the newly formed Greensboro Gargoyles hockey team has been working to get their new home ready.
"Here's what's going to be the player lounge someday," said Casey Ditzel, the team's broadcast and communications manager, as he showed WFMY News 2's Chad Silber some of the behind-the-scenes projects. "You see on the left all the sticks and gear and helmets all starting to come in."
From the locker room to the future team store, everything is coming together. "What you're seeing is the transition mode here," Ditzel said.
"We're just beyond excited to get this thing started here," Ditzel said. "And can't wait to show the product, the players, the talent that so much work has gone into in preparing this."
