The Dodgers are moving on from Alexis Diaz.

Los Angeles designated Diaz, 28, for assignment on Thursday, the team announced .

During his short time in Los Angeles , Diaz posted a 5.00 ERA across nine appearances with the club.

Diaz’s last appearance with the Dodgers came on Aug. 17 before the team optioned him to Triple-A Oklahoma City.

His most recent stint in the minors saw him experience even less success, as the former All-Star gave up four earned runs in just 3⅓ innings pitched.
