DENTON, Texas — Di Abruzzo’s, a beloved local Italian eatery known for its scratch-made menu and imported products, has announced a temporary closure due to financial challenges.
In a statement shared on Facebook , the restaurant cited back rent, slow summer sales, rising food and supply costs influenced by tariffs, and increased overhead as primary reasons for the shutdown.
The restaurant’s owners expressed hope that the closure would be short-lived, noting plans to raise the necessary funds to reopen.
“We will update our wonderful loyal customers as we do,” the statement said.
The Facebook post also mentioned that restricted access to funds, resulting from an ongoing personal divorce and the demands of running the business, contributed to the decision to pause operations. The owner
