LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - A man from Mexico who had previously been deported was arrested after leading state troopers on a chase that resulted in the discovery of several undocumented individuals.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) reported that on Wednesday, September 3, at around 8 a.m., a trooper attempted to stop a white truck for a traffic violation. However, the driver failed to pull over, leading the trooper on a high-speed chase.

After the truck finally came to a stop, several individuals were seen fleeing. DPS credits the assistance of its brush team and Border Patrol for capturing 11 undocumented immigrants.
