ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police reported that a man is in critical condition after crashing into a semi-truck.

The crash happened at 22nd Street and Laude Drive on Thursday night, around 8:47 p.m.

Officials are asking the community to avoid the area while they investigate further.
