Melbourne's NRL premiership tilt has received another blow, with Nelson Asofa-Solomona receiving a three-game suspension that is likely to end his season, and Ryan Papenhuyzen failing a head injury assessment (HIA) late on during the loss to Brisbane.

On the night, Storm halfback Jahrome Hughes also suffered a likely season-ending fractured forearm, Asofa-Solomona went to the sin bin for making shoulder contact with the head of Brisbane prop Ben Talty.
