TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Tucson Police Chief Chad Kasmar released a statement today following a plea deal given to an armed gunman at an eastside school.
Chief Kasmar shared his thoughts in a statement, emphasizing the importance of bringing the case before a judge and jury.
"My position remains unchanged. While this case, like all criminal matters, presented its share of challenges, the facts and circumstances should have been brought before a judge and jury for determination," Kasmar said.
