ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The city of Sandy Springs is cracking down on homes being used as short-term rental properties.

The city was recently granted a restraining order against a home on Kenstone Court, which was being used for parties, to cease operations after multiple complaints from neighbors.

“Neighbors have submitted multiple complaints regarding excessive noise, increased traffic, and parking issues associated with the property,” the city said.

Currently, the home is empty with a “FOR SALE” sign in the front and locks on the doors.

The city stated that the Ohio-based company, Failsafe Data LLC, operates the short-term rental property; however, it did not have a business license or the required short-term rental permit.
